OUR STORY
The story of Todo Bien all began when a Kiwi boy met a Peruvian girl on the white sand beaches of South America. They dreamed of travelling the world together and finding sun, surf, good food, good music and good vibes with like minded people.
After a few whirlwind months together they ended up going their seperate ways until their paths crossed again a short while later in the rat race of London with Tim working in public relations and Cynthia continuing her studies at the Burlington School of English.
Here they spent 2 years working and soaking up big city life until they had a crazy idea to flee the cold chaos of the city and set up a hideaway where the warm surf was a walk away, the sounds of nature wake you in the morning and sunsets spent swinging in hammocks are the norm.
In 2010 they finally decided to pack up their lives and embark on a journey that would take them all over the world.
For the next 3 years, Tim & Cynthia worked and lived on a yacht exploring the far reaches of the Mediterranean and Caribbean all the while visiting potential set up spots such as Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Morocco, Portugal and New Zealand.
On a whim, near the end of 2012, Tim and Cynthia flew to Nicaragua and quickly discovered they had found the place they had been searching for. They fell in love with the surf, the landscapes, the people and the culture - and vowed to return again to explore more. Their second chance came around in late 2013 and after scoping out land as far north as Popoyo and as far south as Playa el coco, they fell in love with an almost 2 acre ocean view lot nestled in the jungle above Playa Maderas.
With a small casita, almost reclaimed by the jungle, and a derelict pool - Tim and Cynthia knew they had found a slice of paradise they could transform into the hideaway they had been dreaming of.
